Advanced Clinical Practitioner - Sefton

£45,000-£60,000 pa.  37.5 hours per week (part-time hours will be considered)

An exciting opportunity for a full time/part time Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP), Nurse, Paramedic/AHP with V300 Non medical prescribing (NMP) qualifications working within acute visiting services, urgent treatment centres and out of hours services.

What does this role involve?

being exposed to new ways of working and further developing personal skills;

being involved in different patient pathways, which will broaden our workforce’s experience with every shift being diverse; this may include completing visits in care homes and the patient’s own home, Out of Hours telephone advice, face to face treatment centres, walk in services

being connected via modern technology to enable a variety of consultation options;

options for those considering a portfolio career and/or wider leadership roles. We can offer development roles with accredited education/training to help up skill staff with our links with Salford and Bolton university

Our clinicians use their skills to assess, diagnose, treat and provide advice, care and management for patients that present with diagnosed or undiagnosed undifferentiated illness. If you want to provide excellent patient care in an innovative environment, this is could be the role for you!

Clinicians will have opportunity to flexibly work across gtd healthcare sites, including opportunities if desired, to work within primary care, urgent care and telephone triage

What skills and experience will you need to apply?

  • Registered first level nurse, paramedic or other AHP.
  • Flexibility in working patterns to fulfil unexpected clinical requirements.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks
  • Effective communication skills both on the phone and face to face
  • Experience of working as senior clinician
  • Proven level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Want to improve and initiate new services for patients
