Cancer Genomics Medical Lead

 

 

 

Salary: Dedicated 2 PA commitment

 

Building on the NHS contribution to the 100,000 Genomes Project, the introduction of a national genomic medicine service has created 7 Genomic Laboratory Hubs. The North West GLH will be hosted by Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.

The North West Genomics Laboratory Hub is now seeking an experienced Cancer Genomics Medical Lead.

 

 

 

Working with the senior leadership team of the NW Genomic Laboratory Hub, specialist clinical leads and the senior leadership team of the St Mary’s Hospital Division of Genomic Medicine you will advise on the strategic development and delivery of the cancer Genomics service ensuring effective integration of services and liaison with key stakeholders. Your role is key to the development of a comprehensive, efficient and high quality integrated Genomics Laboratory service for the population of the North West of England.

 

 

 

You will be a Medical Consultant with expertise in cancer care and genomics with proven leadership experience of managing teams. You will be a recognised WGS expert in clinical interpretation of complex genomic information and be a recognised national/international expert and contributor in your own field.
