DESMOND Audit Co-ordinator & Data Processor

Full time 37.5 hours per week

Band 4

1 year fixed term

Based at Leicester General Hospital (Leicester Diabetes Centre)

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, hardworking and highly motivated individual to join our team as our Audit Co-ordinator & Data Processor and be part of the DESMOND National and International team. DESMOND is the education programme of choice for people with, and at risk of type 2 diabetes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and quality oversight of one or more National Audit content management systems and/or databases. It will include the: collation, aggregation and processing of patient data, questionnaires and other patient related outcomes measures.

Support the senior team to evaluate and expand existing audit data collection systems and implement new systems and processes in order to improve efficiency.

To collect and process data from all participating DESMOND sites nationally and internationally for audit, evaluation and research purposes. To regularly produce standard analytical reports for the Senior LDC management team and ad-hoc reports as required.

Experience of customer service and administrative duties is a must, as is a good standard of education.

Computer skills are essential, as reports need to be produced on a regular and ad-hoc basis, as well as continual use of Microsoft Outlook for administration of a number of mailboxes. Informal discussions are advised prior to application.
