CAMHS Clinician in Training CYP-IAPT CBT (Band 6 Specialist Nurse/OT/Social Worker)

Bromley CAMHS

Full time – 37.5hours (2.5 days training, 2.5 days Bromley CAMHS)

We seek to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic CAMHS Clinician (Specialist Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker) to provide a highly specialist service for young people in the Borough of Bromley as part of a CBT training role within the Child & Young Persons Improving Access to Psychological Therapies Programme (CYP-IAPT).

The post holder will work within Bromley CAMHS alongside the multi-disciplinary team to provide assessment and treatment of children and young people experiencing a broad spectrum of complex and severe mental health difficulties, whilst also undertaking a programme of training. This intensive training post will equip the post holder to provide interventions based on CYP-IAPT care principles in addition to an evidence-based intervention consistent with their training course. The successful post holder will undertake a 2 year part time training, during which they will be required to attend the training programme for 1 day per week and will work within Bromley CAMHS for 4 days of the week, of which 1.5 days will be focussed on using newly developed skills to work with training cases only.

(This window also asks whether you are applying via a King's Approved Agent, King's Partner or Study Abroad coordinator - the default answer No ought to be selected.)

The application form requires that you identify the source of funding for your study. Please select 6. Other; Organisation Name should be ‘Health Education England' and Organisation Type should be ‘Public body'.

You will also be asked for details of a referee - this should be the line manager in your service. They will be contacted by our admissions department to provide a supporting reference for your application.
