Imaging Audit Coordinator

Job Reference: 358-1934212-CSI

Employer:
University Hospitals of Leicester
Department:
Imaging
Location:
Leicester Royal Infirmary
Salary:
Band 2

We have an exciting and rare opportunity for an Audit Coordinator to join the Imaging Team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our busy team as an Audit Coordinator.

You will be responsible to support the Assistant Information Analyst with a number of Imaging data requests and to maintain the National Vascular Registry Database and Diagnostic Imaging Dataset (DID). Team working is most important in this role but you will also be required to work independently on occasions.

If you are a highly organised person who would love a challenge and likes to keep busy then this is the job for you.

Preference will be given in the first instance to existing NHS employees within the East Midlands healthcare community who are ‘at risk’ of redundancy. Such employees within the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust will be considered first.

Please note that this vacancy will close as soon as sufficient number of applications are received. If you are interested in this post we advise that you apply as soon as possible.

Additional Information

Please submit your application form without delay to avoid disappointment; we will close vacancies prior to the publishing closing date if we receive a sufficient number of completed application forms.

Please check the email account (including your junk mail) that you supplied as part of your application on a regular basis following the closing date and throughout the recruitment process, as this is how we will communicate with you.

UHL is an equal opportunities employer. We aim to employ a workforce that reflects the diverse communities we serve. We welcome applications from people from all backgrounds who match our job criteria.

We especially welcome applications from members of our black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) communities, as we have identified that UHL has an under-representation of BAME employees at band 7 and above.

Applicants who have a disability and meet the essential criteria for the job will be interviewed if you indicate you wish to be considered under the Guaranteed Interview Scheme. If you require a reasonable adjustment at any stage of the recruitment process please make the recruitment services team aware as soon as possible.

Appointments will be made on merit

Disclosure and Barring Service Check

If this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.

Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship (formerly a Work Permit)

Applications from job seekers who require Tier 2 sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications. However, non-EEA candidates may not be appointed to a post if a suitably qualified, experienced and skilled EU/EEA candidate is available to take up the post as the employing body is unlikely, in these circumstances, to satisfy the Resident Labour Market Test. The UK Border Agency requires employers to complete this test to show that no suitably qualified EEA or EU worker can fill the post. For further information please visit UK Border Agency website.
