The Ambulance Radio Programme seeks to support patient care by delivering products-based approaches for critical communication systems across all 11 English Ambulance Trusts.

 

This is a high-level position that requires specialist skills in client, account and relationship management. Of particular importance is the ability to build strong and effective working relationships with other service management disciplines, suppliers, users across the Ambulance Trusts, the wider NHS and managing the conflicting demands and tensions of a range of stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited:

 

  • Directly project manage all aspects of those projects allocated by the ARP Service Director or Head of Service Delivery, working closely with the ARP team, suppliers and stakeholders associated with these projects, typically of a complex nature, of high business value and significant to the Trust.

     

  • Develop and maintain business cases, investment appraisals, project initiation documentation and project controls for significant investments and projects as necessary.

     

  • Establish and maintain necessary delivery structures to support project delivery, manage resources and priorities across the Project Team.

 

  • Manage governance processes for delivery, including initiation stage, stage plans, highlight reports, and exception reports.
