Admin Assistant - HR Change

We’re currently seeking a motivated, committed and highly organised individual to join our HR Change team to undertake this key administrative role within NHSBT. The role, within the HR Department, is an exciting opportunity which has come about due to the increasing workload supporting organisational change programmes.


You will be providing a comprehensive administration service ensuring access to redeployment support for employees affected by change as well as supporting our HR colleagues who lead on change programmes.


Duties will include maintaining records of all change programme activity and updating the redeployment register, making arrangements for meetings, appeal panels and presentations, communicating by telephone and email to redeployees as well as the wider HR team. You will also liaise with payroll colleagues to ensure accurate and timely paperwork is submitted. There may also be the opportunity to work with our HR Direct Team, who provide the first point of contact for our HR Advisory service. The role is a great opportunity for anyone with a customer service or administrative background who wants to start a career in a HR/Workforce role.


You will have experience of working in an administrative role in a busy office environment, handling conflicting deadlines and priorities. Possession of ECDL, CLAIT or RSA or equivalent experience is required and it would be an advantage if you possess an NVQ level 3 in business or administration or a qualification in HR e.g. Certificate in Personnel Practice.


This role is based at our Blood Centre in Filton, Bristol. This is a purpose built, state-of-the art building which is the largest blood manufacturing centre in the world.
