As a vital member of our warehouse team, you will be providing a professional service receiving and despatching a range of consumable items to ensure we are able to collect, process and issue Blood and Blood products on time.

The role will include picking customer orders accurately with a clear understanding of FIFO, LIFO & lot number control, input stock & non stock items into the warehousing computerised system. you will also be required to manually handle stock into and out of locations following good manual handling techniques.

Previous experience of working in a warehouse is essential along with a current reach fork lift truck licence. It’s important you have the ability to use your own initiative and can work with a minimum of supervision; you’ll also demonstrate the ability to follow instructions and procedures. You must be flexible in your approach and a good team player, and you will be expected to keep clear, accurate records.

You should also be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines being reactive to the changing needs of our customers.

You’ll also play a part in ensuring that Health and Safety standards are maintained so the warehouse is kept clean, tidy and safe.

The normal working hours for this post will be: 07:30 - 16:00 Monday to Thursday and 07:30 - 15:30 Friday.
