Do you have significant health or social care leadership experience and are looking for a new and exciting challenge?  We are looking for someone with outstanding leadership and service development skills to lead on our transformation projects in South Gloucestershire.

Your primary purpose will be to support the Head of Adult & Specialist Services and Business Development Team in the transformation programme of a range of Adult & Specialist Services, liaising closely with 7 Heads of Service who have responsibility for the safe and effective delivery of these services on a day to day basis. You will lead and coordinate a number of projects that will contribute to the achievement of organisational objectives and you will also be required to provide senior management support to the Acting Head of Learning Disability Services.

You will be required to provide inspiring and innovative leadership that supports the implementation and development of high quality integrated person-centred care which respects and responds to the needs of service users and carers. You will be expected to lead by example to gain the best from services and staff, ensuring they are supported to remain engaged, positively challenged and effective. This role is for a fixed period of 9 months.

The role will require the post-holder to provide overall transformation management and development for Adult & Specialist Services including Learning Disability Services in South Gloucestershire, Bristol, reporting to the Head of Adult & Specialist Services.  You will provide project management expertise for a number of high profile projects, which will involve the production of plans, documentation and the provision of guidance for project teams and ensuring communication is maintained between all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, helping to ensure all organisational procedures are adhered to, objectives are identified and met, and benefits realised from the implementation of the change.

Integral to the role is representing Sirona by working in partnership with other BNSSG providers. There is a requirement to attend a significant number of system wide meetings and the occasional requirement to deputise for the Head of Adult & Specialist Services and the Director of Operations.

You will need to demonstrate sound knowledge and experience of working in the area of health or social care and have experience of supporting front line service delivery in accordance with the Health and Social Care Act (2008) and the requirements of CQC regulations. Experience of leading teams within a community setting is essential, as is a proven track record of working in partnership with other agencies.
