Consultant Radiologist with an Interest in Musculoskeletal Imaging

Applications are invited for a Consultant Radiologist with an interest in musculoskeletal imaging. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to support the delivery of specialist musculoskeletal imaging for our large orthopaedic service for UHL including sarcoma and MDT. Opportunity for interventional MSK work both fluoro, utltrasound and CT guided forms part of this.

The post holder will be supported by a team of consultant colleagues in providing elective and emergency care, both specialist and general.

The post holder will join the existing non interventional on-call rota, approximately 1 in 9 delivering acute imaging to UHL.

A major refurbishment programme of all Trust MRI and CT scanners has recently been completed ensuring the latest technology is available.

The service has strong links to academic and other radiology departments; the opportunity to be involved in research is available for interested candidates. Successful candidates will be expected to participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and clinical governance.
