We are holding a recruitment day for Band 5 Theatre Nurses and Operating Department Practitioners to join our experienced Anaesthetic Theatre department on 29th November 2018 and 13th December 2018.

On the day:
- You will be invited to take a guided tour around our state-of-the-art theatres facilities
- Meet the team and discuss career opportunities. You are free to ask whatever you want to know
- Undertake assessment and interviews on the same day

About Us
At the Royal London Hospital we have a commitment to providing ongoing professional and educational development, as part of the internationally reputable Trauma Centre and Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS).

We have 26 state-of-the art elective and emergency theatres, covering a variety of specialties:

Hepto-billary, complex ENT, trauma & orthopaedics, reconstructive orthopaedics, neurosurgery, complex vascular surgery, intervention radiology, maxilla facial surgery, plastic reconstructive surgery, neonatal surgery, shared airway ENT, ophthalmic surgery, along with providing paediatric expertise to the major trauma service in South East of England

 

About you – skills and experience required

    • Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner, with a commitment to your own professional development, ideally with experience of working in a busy theatre environment

OR

    • A student qualifying in anytime 2018 as we would welcome applications from newly qualified staff or a registered nurse seeking a change of career direction


You will be committed to developing your professional competence and building your skills portfolio through experiential learning and education to maximise your career prospects.
