Ripon Minor Injury Unit

Ripon Minor Injury Unit provides care to patients presenting with minor injuries within the local community, 365 days a year including evenings, weekends and bank holidays. The unit is practitioner led and managed by Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust.

We are currently looking to increase our establishment of Urgent Care Practitioners (UCPs) and have a vacancy for a permanent position. The Minor Injury Unit is practitioner led and the role is an autonomous role that requires an accredited minor injuries qualification with previous working experience within the speciality of minor injuries care. We are looking for caring, motivated individuals who are committed to high standards of patient care, who can be flexible to service needs and possess the skills to integrate into small established teams.

This team and service is supported by a Practice Educator who will facilitate a bespoke supernumerary induction programme for the successful applicant. The role is also underpinned by a competency framework with clear objectives to achieve and opportunities to identify individual development needs.
