This is a great opportunity to help create and maintain a positive relationship between blood donors and NHSBT by defining and delivering a donor relationship marketing strategy based on evidence and insight using established and cutting edge behaviour change techniques.

 

As an experienced social marketer, you will work with colleagues inside and outside of the Donor Engagement and Retention team, and also with marketing agencies to develop a programme of relationship marketing and to coordinate the implementation of that programme. By doing so, you will ensure that we retain donors in critical donor segments and ensure the supply of blood products in the long and short term.

 

The role is part of the Donor Engagement and Retention team which is responsible for developing new and innovative campaigns and interventions to maximise the retention of existing donors in key segments and to maintain and improve engagement with blood donors in general. You will work as part of a team of six people and will line manage a Relationship Marketing Specialist.
