An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed and enthusiastic AAA Screening Specialist Nurse to join our team based at Glenfield Hospital. The successful candidate will be required to work as part of a small team of specialist nurses responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of the Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening Programme across Leicester, leicestershire & Rutland.

The role involves running nurse led clinics offering ultrasound screening for males in their 65th year. This involves active health promotion and the ability to give diagnostic evaluation at the time of consultation.

You must have relevant years post registration experience, a driving licence and use of a vehicle for work purposes and you will be required to undertake the Diploma for Health Screeners and become competent in ultrasound scanning of aortas.
