The Clinical Research Network East Midlands is inviting applications for the role of Renal Disorders Specialty Lead (CRN East Midlands, Division 2). The post is open to clinicians employed within the East Midlands region as defined by the NIHR boundary.

The post is offered as a supplementary role rather than a stand alone appointment, coming with up to 0.5 PA support.

This is a high-profile and demanding role, with an expectation for the post holder to be an ambassador for the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR). As well as a passion for bringing clinical research opportunities to patients, you will be required to have an in- depth understanding of how the local NHS “works”, an ability to forge and maintain productive partnerships across organisational boundaries, and the tenacity to deliver stretching targets in challenging environments. The network is hosted by UHL, although covers the East Midlands footprint, with travel expected across all sites.
