Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust provides a range of community health services for both physical and mental health conditions, as well as a range of specialist services supporting people of all ages including family and young people services, mental health, learning disabilities and physical health community and inpatient services.

We deliver services to the people of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. Our 5500 staff serve a population of one million from over 100 sites across the region.


Are you a qualified Band 5 Physiotherapist, or due to qualify this year?

Would you like to work within a forward thinking adult Community Therapy Service within the beautiful countryside of Leicestershire?

We are looking a Physiotherapist to join our Community Therapy Services across East Leicestershire.

Our therapy teams are well-established and enthusiastic about delivering high quality assessment and treatment within their own homes. We have a formal In-Service Training and Preceptorship programme to support your professional development. You will be fully supported by senior staff, clinical specialists and therapy professional leads.

This post requires a level of personal responsibility and we are looking for someone highly motivated and proactive with the ability to prioritise their own workload, use their initiative and the ability to work on their own and as part of a team. You will demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to adapt to a changing and pressurised environment.

Car driver is essential for the post.

We recognise the need to develop modern working practices to enable employees to maximise their performance and productivity whilst maintaining a good work life balance. To this aim the Trust has adopted an Agile working methodology as outlined within the Trust Agile working Policy.

The post advertised falls under the Trust’s Agile working methodology, so if successful you will be appointed as an Agile Worker, and will need to work to the Trusts Agile working policy. Talk to the recruiting manager about what this means in practice for you.
