We are currently recruiting for a clinical nurse leader in the Dementia/HD integrated practice unit based at St Andrews Healthcare.

Our clinical nurse lead post is the equivalent of a Band 6, so if you are looking for a step up the career ladder and are passionate, enthusiastic and looking for a new role working with older females, look no further.

We are looking for a skilled and innovative individual to deliver person centred care on our ward, inspire the team and role model excellent clinical practice.  We need someone who has the ability to work under pressure and rise to any challenge. We have exciting opportunities ahead, moving into a Dementia Hub, which you will be part of organising, along with opportunities for you to have continued professional development, training, clinical supervision, and develop and use your skills in a supportive environment.

You will work closely with the ward Nurse Manager to ensure an integrated approach to governance, and where necessary liaise with staff to improve performance, patient safety and risk management.

You will be required to support the ward manager in managing the ward team and covering some managerial tasks in their absence.

 

Please note there will be a degree of flexibility in shifts including some nights where necessary allowing direct links with your team colleagues, with the aim of delivering high standards of care through continuity and consistency.
