The Centralised Staffing Solutions team is looking to recruit friendly, team orientated individuals with experience of working in a busy environment. As an Administrator, Support Secretary or Medical Secretary you will be playing a crucial part in helping us ensure the services we deliver are the best they can be.

Our Secretarial Support Services are seeking temporary staff that are enthusiastic, hardworking and flexible, who can commit to working a minimum of 22.5 hours per week.

To fulfil our interesting and varied roles, applicants will need to have:

  • GCSE English Language and Maths level C or above or equivalent qualification
  • RSA level III or equivalent experience or Business Administration NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience in a clerical environment
  • Medical Secretaries will require AMSPAR Certificate/equivalent qualification or equivalent knowledge of medical terminology
  • Previous administrative experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Excellent IT skills including proficient use of Microsoft Office packages.
  • Excellent keyboard skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure within a busy office environment.
  • Excellent team working abilities.
  • Excellent organisational, time management and prioritising skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the Service.

Applicant Requirements:

  • You will be required to take a short literacy and numeracy assessment. If you pass both parts you will then be invited for a face to face interview

For areas where our teams work to staffing rosters, rosters are set in advance at a team level and you will be joining an established roster. Your rostered shifts will be confirmed to you when arranging your start date. We will consider requests to vary working patterns in line with our flexible working policy.

To make the most of your application, we may consider successful applicants for vacancies for the same post in different locations where this is appropriate and meets our mutual requirements.

For all substantive roles the appointment of every new member of staff (excluding medical and dental staff) to a post is subject to a 6 month probationary period, details of which are in our Probation Policy.
