An established and professional substance misuse team is looking to recruite a qualified Nurse Prescriber who has substance misuse as their specialism. We are looking to expand the service in innovative ways, utilising technology to provide fixable working.

There are two roles: one in Durham/Bishop Auckland and one in South Shields.  Part time working is possible.   Please state which location you wish to apply for in your application.

The post holder will be encouraged to develop their leadership and work autonomously but within a supportive management structure. We are looking for some one who can work within a partnership arrangement supporting non-statutory staff, providing training and expert advice when needed.

Afull driving licence is essential and applicants should have has access to own transport.

The post holder will be expected to undertake safeguarding training (Children and Adults) appropriate to their role and adhere to policies and procedures relevant to the area they work in.
