Salary: £17,787 to £20,448 pa

Essential Requirements: 5 GCSE’s or equivalent

At Harrogate District Foundation Trust we are committed to providing the best patient care and the best working environment for our staff. We are looking for a full time Outpatient Coordinator to support our nursing teams providingeffective, individual care.

The Outpatient Coordinator is an essential part of the delivery of our outpatient care at Harrogate District Hospital. It is an administration role with a significant amount of contact with clinical staff and patients and therefore critical to providing the excellent patient experience we aspire to. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, efficient and friendly person to join our administration team to provide high quality administration support to this busy and dynamic area.

The administration team are essential to the smooth running of the department and in making sure that patients have a positive experience at Harrogate District Hospital. Key parts of the role are providing support to senior staff with office administration, stock ordering for the clinics, updating room booking spreadsheet, liaising with clinical teams and dealing with telephone enquiries.

The role is an excellent opportunity to be part of the service delivery – you will work alongside clinical colleagues and have plenty of contact with patients. You will become a competent user of the hospital’s information system and have the opportunity to learn new skills as you develop in the role. You will need to be good with IT systems, a logical thinker with excellent interpersonal skills and have excellent knowledge of confidentiality.

The Outpatient Department is currently operational from Monday –Saturday.
