An exciting opportunity has arisen for Head of Finance - Capital and Cash to work within our financial services department. This is a post which needs an enthusiastic and self motivated individual with drive and determination, who is to work on a range of projects and demonstrate commitment to improve financial and capital processes and services to the wider Trust.

Applicants should hold a professional accountancy qualification and have several years experience working in an NHS financial environment whilst working to tight deadlines.

The post holder will also need experience of NHS capital and cash accounting and be able to communicate effectively with senior individuals across the Trust, up to Director level.

We are a large Trust - providing our services over three sites and have a £50m capital programme for 2019/20 and non-current assets of £495m. We have an exciting future ahead, with major capital funding of £450m over the next five years recently announced by the government.
