An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dedicated Clinic Administrator to work within the Anaesthetic Department!

You will be part of a talented and passionate team of people to provide support to the Anaesthetic Consultants who deliver Anaesthetic Review Clinics (ARCs, formerly known as HRAs) to a variety of specialties across the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust, that help optimise the patient's journey through the hospital episode.

Your work will take the patients from referral to discharge from the service, and good communication and interpersonal skills are essential to ensuring high quality service for patients. The work includes the processing of clinic and admin letters and general administrative work.

In this fast paced environment you must be able to prioritise workload to work efficiently along with the team, be able to work on your own initiative as well as work well as part of a team and to demonstrate the Trust values at all times.

The role requires you to work flexibly across the three University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust hospital sites – Leicester Royal Infirmary, Leicester General Hospital and Glenfield Hospital. The Hospital Hopper service which runs at regular intervals between the hospital sites can help you achieve this.

It would be an advantage if you already have experience in the various hospital systems, especially HISS and Winscribe or audiotyping.
