The National School of Healthcare Science has exciting opportunities for two Lead Administrators (Band 4) to work in the School on a permanent basis.

Are you an experienced administrator looking for the next step in your career? Would you like to work for the National School of Healthcare Science (NSHCS) in a dynamic, challenging and rewarding environment? If your answer is yes then please read further.

The National School of Healthcare Science is responsible for overseeing and supporting the implementation and ongoing delivery of training and education programmes for Healthcare Scientists.

You will be responsible for providing comprehensive business and project administration support to the School’s Programme Support Office which will include meeting and event management, providing professional communication and support services for trainees, trainers and other stakeholders, management of data, working confidentially with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

You must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have proven administrative and project support skills and be committed to providing a first class support service, working with a high degree of professionalism and be capable of managing a very diverse and complex workload working to tight deadlines. You must also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work independently on their own initiative with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidates must have an NVQ Level 3 in a related subject or equivalent experience with excellent IT and organisational skills and be capable of overseeing the workload of others.

They also must be willing and able to travel as although based in Birmingham, there will be a requirement to travel within the health economy and nationally on occasion as part of this role.
