All successful applicants will be required to complete the Trust’s induction programme. The Fundamental (Statutory and Mandatory) training will be in an e-learning format. You will be required to complete training modules online (approx. 9-14 hours depending on post) in your own time prior to any unconditional offer being made.


The Trust is looking to appoint an Assistant buyer who will be working in a fast moving reactive role responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to the Procurement Department.

 

As part of your role you will be required to process orders and requisitions onto the NHS supply chain on line system ordering system and Integra, ensuring compliance with end user deadlines, Trust Standing Financial Instructions being mindful that Trust is achieving value for money.

 

You will have previous experience in a similar role where you have dealt with internal and external stakeholder by phone, electronically and face to face.

 

Knowledge of Microsoft Software (including Excel, Word and Outlook), The successful applicant will need to be willing to engaged in development of new working practice and development of processes to integrate with EDRMs projects and be willing to study towards Chartered Institute of Purchase and Supply Qualification (CIPS)
