An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Imaging Application Specialist, to provide 1st line support to both clinical and non-clinical staff within the Trust and from other Trusts for Picture Archiving Communications System (PACS) Radiology Information System (RIS), Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA). Supporting all system users and ensuring that systems are fully functional which is of clinical importance.

Attention to detail is crucial to this role to ensure data quality issues are resolved efficiently to prevent any clinical risk. The successful candidate will liaise with external suppliers and help to resolve issues.

The successful candidate with need to be able to liaise with staff to coordinate and facilitate the image sharing needed for on-going patient care using the Image Exchange Portal (IEP) with some contact to patients wanting a copy of their images using CD and IEP Anyone.

GETTING TO WORK

If this job requires you to have DBS check to enable you to properly fulfil the requirements of the job, on appointment, you will be required to replay the cost of obtaining a DBS check and this amount will be reclaimed in installments from your salary. Many staff use the DBS update service at a cost of £13 per annum but you need to sign up for this via their website.
