Paediatric Registrar/Teaching Fellow

(Honorary Specialist Registrar) 0.7 wte

This post is a part-time Clinical Teaching Fellow post based at Whittington Health.

It is an established post with the aim of providing training in both clinical paediatrics and education. It provides an exciting opportunity for a trainee who wishes to take some time out of full-time clinical training to develop themselves as an educator. We invite applications from those with a strong teaching interest in any area of paediatrics and child health.

Initially, this is a 1-year renewable post that includes both clinical and teaching responsibilities, with support for research. The appointee will be encouraged to make use of the research and clinical training resources within the Whittington and its clinical networks, plus UCL-associated paediatric and child health academic and service units including the Institute of Child Health and Great Ormond Street Hospital. The appointee will spend 70% of their time in teaching and research and 30% in clinical training.

The post holder may choose to do out of-hours work alongside this post, although this is not compulsory.

The interview will be 3.1.19 in the afternoon at Whittington Health.
