An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Band 5 staff nurse within the community nursing team at Woking District Nurses. This is an excellent place to start your career in community nursing. The role of the Community Staff Nurse will be caring for complex patients in their home environments.

The skills required for Community Nursing include complex wound management, palliative care and end of life care, medicines management, IV drug administration as well as having a high standard of holistic assessment and care planning skills. Training and support is available for the successful applicant. The post is full time 37.5hrs a week including weekends and bank holidays.

The community nurses work closely with members of the wider multi-disciplinary teams including local Hospices, Complex Care Nurses, Health and Social Care Coordinators, Specialist Nurses and Therapist colleagues.

Successful applicants, who have not worked for CSH within the last 12 months, will receive an amount of £2000 paid in 2 instalments - £1000 upon commencement and a further £1000 following successful completion of probation.
