ID Medical Group, leading provider of clinical services is seeking dedicated and organised Medical
Secretaries to join our growing team, supporting NHS patients across multiple
outpatient departments in North Wales as part of an exciting new project.
Main duties of the job
We have several vacancies available, with part time working options considered. The initial contract will be for a minimum of 68 months.
In this role you will work collaboratively as part of a team, providing vital support to ensure clinical letters and documentation are typed accurately and within agreed timeframes. You will also undertake a range of general medical secretarial duties and may be required to work across different medical specialitiesoffering variety and flexibility in your day to day work.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong typing skills and a professional, patient focused approach. To be successful you should have experience as a typist ideally within the NHS, and possess strong communication skills.

The postholder/s will provide efficient administrative and secretarial support to consultants and clinical teams, ensuring high standards of patient care and timely clinic management.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive secretarial support to consultants and clinical staff.

Schedule and manage outpatient appointments and clinics.

Prepare, format, and distribute clinic letters, reports, and correspondence using medical terminology.

Maintain accurate patient records using hospital systems

Liaise with patients, GPs, and other healthcare professionals in a professional and courteous manner.
