Job summary
Primary Eyecare Services is recruiting for a Data Analyst to support the continued development of our data, reporting and insight capabilities.
This is a full-time role where the postholder will play a key role in transforming healthcare data into meaningful insights that support service delivery, operational performance and strategic decision-making.
The Data Analyst will work across internal teams and with external stakeholders to ensure data is accurate, accessible and used effectively to inform service improvement, contract performance and organisational growth.
This role will contribute to the ongoing digital transformation of the organisation, supporting improved reporting processes, data quality and visibility across services.
Main duties of the job
- You will analyse service and practice activity using business intelligence and reporting tools to generate actionable insights
- You will build and maintain interactive dashboards to support transparent reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
- You will track KPIs and produce detailed monthly and quarterly reports to assess provider performance
- You will identify trends, gaps and opportunities to improve service coverage and efficiency
- You will support new contract acquisitions and tenders through data-driven insight and analysis
- You will review and optimise internal processes to improve operational efficiency
- You will contribute to improving data quality through validation and consistency checks
- You will provide regular updates on data and reporting projects to ensure visibility of progress
- You will work with data warehouse sources and support accurate reporting and analysis
- You will conduct predictive analysis to support financial forecasting and accruals
- You will assist in producing financial reports, including Sales Activity Report.
- You will work with NHS systems such as SUS and DLP to support timely and accurate submissions
- You will communicate complex data findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- You will collaborate with internal teams and contribute to ongoing digital transformation initiatives
