We are seeking a Specialist ADHD GP with a clinical interest in neuro developmental conditions to join our established, NHS aligned service delivering care via the Right to Choose (RTC) pathway.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high quality ADHD assessment and management for patients accessing care through NHS referral, in line with NICE guidance and NHS clinical governance standards.

Main duties of the job
The role
You will:
- Undertake ADHD assessments and reviews via the NHS Right to Choose pathway
- Contribute to diagnosis and shared decision making in accordance with NICE NG87
- Support medication initiation and monitoring where appropriate
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Maintain high quality clinical documentation and governance standards
- Liaise with NHS GP practices, schools, and other professionals as required

About you
You will be:
- GMC registered with a licence to practise
- A GP with an interest or experience in ADHD and neuro developmental care
- Comfortable working within NHS structures and referral pathways, including RTC
- Familiar with (or keen to work in line with) NICE guidance
- Patient focused, methodical, and confident managing clinical complexity

specialist ADHD service, ensuring safe, evidencebased assessment and
treatment, highquality multidisciplinary practice, and continuous service
improvement. Including clinical leadership for the ADHD pathway.
To support a culture of learning and
development across Taurus ADHD services, providing training and development to
the ADHD clinical team. To work with our Lead Consultant Psychiatrist to
provide and support medical leadership to the operational and quality teams to
deliver consistently all aspects of contractual requirements.

Main Responsibilities
Undertake comprehensive ADHD assessments in line
with NICE guidelines.
Formulate and document diagnoses, differential
diagnoses, and management plans.
Complete highquality assessment reports within
agreed turnaround times.
Initiate and review ADHD treatment plans, including
shared care recommendations.
Work collaboratively with the MDT, including
psychiatrists, nurses and admin teams.
Participate in clinical supervision, peer review and
service development.
Maintain accurate, timely clinical records using
agreed clinical systems.
Adhere to safeguarding, information governance and
clinical governance standards.
Support service quality, consistency, and patient
experience across the ADHD pathway.
Promote a culture of service user empowerment and
valuing in design of
Provide medical management,
