Job summary

An opportunity has arisen for a Quality Administrator in the quality team.

This is a busy and varied role and will provide administrative support for postgraduate medical education and training across the Northwest (Lancashire & South Cumbria, Cheshire and Merseyside and Greater Manchester).

We are looking for an individual who can manage and prioritise their own workload within a fast-paced environment and is a team player.A good working knowledge of Office365, including Microsoft Office and SharePoint. The ability to manipulate information from a variety of sources is essential. It is important that the post holder has excellent communication skills and can deal sensitively with people at all levels.There may be some external events that thepostholderwould be expected to attend.

If you are motivated, driven, and hardworking with a 'can-do' attitude, an eye for detail and fantastic organisation skills, this could be an ideal opportunity for you.

Your office base will be either Regatta Place in Liverpool or PP3 Manchester however, you may be required to travel across the Northwest region to support events and attend meetings. We anticipate that you will spend 2 days per week in the office and work remotely for the remainder.

Main duties of the job

  • Diary management
  • Organisation of meetings and minute taking
  • Arrange room bookings and travel for the team.
  • To maintain a document library on SharePoint for all quality documentation
  • Supporting a busy shared inbox.
  • Supporting the team with the management of projects, gathering information and undertaking enquiries as and when is necessary for the head of department, teams and the department.
  • Working as part of a team to support the implementation of specific workstreams and team functions.
  • Build rapport and appropriate professional working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.

Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.

  • GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
  • Educated to NVQ 4 level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of qualification or significant equivalent previous proven experience.

  • Clear communicator with excellent writing, note taking, data entry and presentation skills: capable of constructing and delivering clear information/ instructions to staff and service users
