We have an exciting opportunity for a Workforce Development and Training Practitioner to join our Inclusion team at MPFT.

The post holder is responsible for the coordination, development and delivery of internal and external training programmes across multiple service areas.The role includes responsibility for supporting training staff, managing training cohorts, and overseeing elements of the commercial training offer.

The post holder does not hold direct line management responsibility but provides functional supervision, guidance and quality assurance to trainers, facilitators and subject matter contributors.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will support the Projects and Workforce Development Manager in the planning, coordination and delivery of the organisation's internal training programme, anddevelop and deliver the commercial training offer to external stakeholders and markets.

You will coordinate and develop training and workforce development responses to identified gaps across multiple service types.Key areas of focus include the development and delivery of drug, alcohol and mental health training, trauma informed practice, co-occurring conditions, and CPD accredited programmes.

  • Degree level qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Health, Social Care, Education, Psychology, Public Health).
  • Evidence of ongoing CPD relevant to mental health, substance use, trauma informed practice or workforce development.

Desirable

  • Teaching, training or facilitation qualification (e.g., PTTLS, AET, CET, PGCert in Education).

Experience

Essential

  • Experience delivering training to mixed professional groups.
  • Experience designing structured or CPD-accredited training materials and programmes.
  • Experience delivering training online using virtual platforms and digital engagement tools.

Desirable

  • Experience delivering commercial training to external clients.
