Job summary

We're looking for a dedicated and experienced Recovery Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you'll deliver a comprehensive Tier 2/3 service, supporting individuals struggling with drug use as well as their families and friends. This position operates within the framework of STaRS (Staffordshire Trent and Recovery System), providing meaningful and impactful support to those in need.

Main duties of the job

  • Provision of drug & alcohol treatment to Service Users within the locality.
  • Holding a caseload of service users and being responsible for offering a range of interventions to those individuals.
  • Supporting service users through their treatment journey from beginning to end
  • Embracing the concept of recovery and demonstrating this in your clinical work
  • Ensuring that your work is evidence based, up to date and in accordance with current policy and legislation.
  • Keeping up to date and accurate records and documentation.

Inclusion, created in 2002 is part of the Specialist Services Care Group of Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT).   • Provide harm reduction advice, information, and support with an emphasis on safer drug use, safer sex, HIV, Hepatitis A, B and C and other blood borne infections
  • Be responsible for maintaining a full case load of complex clients as the key worker.
  • To develop and sustain links with multi-disciplinary services including statutory and non-statutory providers of Tier 2,3,4 drug services, criminal justice services and providers of wrap around services.
  • To keep up to date records and information for the purpose of internal and external evaluation.
  • To provide information and statistics consistent with the Drug Action Team (DAT) and Inclusions requirements.
  • To participate in regular supervision.

  • Foundation Degree / HNC in related field which may include counselling, social work, nursing, psychology, human resources, social studies or equivalent experience

  • Considerable experience of working with drug users
