Job summary
To ensure that premises managed by QE Facilities Ltd are presented in such a manner as to promote an image of high standards of cleanliness, order, and patient/ client well-being. Specifically those areas within the job holder's responsibility are clean; maintenance needs are noted and reported; and that support is provided to ensure that patient and staff environments are maintained at an optimal level to enhance the patient experience.
Main duties of the job
Complete daily, weekly, and regular cleaning to include cleaning of all floor surfaces, paintwork, internal glass, fixtures and fittings as defined by QE Facilities Policy, Procedures and Service Level Agreements within the designated area(s)
Organise and remove waste materials from designated areas complying with defined waste procedures for both domestic and clinical waste
Carry out sanitary cleaning in all wet areas to include toilets, basins, baths, and shower cubicles.
Maintain, and replenish cleaning materials to all designated areas to include linen in selected locations
Respond to requests for remedial cleaning after incidents/ accidents in a timely fashion
Report building defects to ensure remedial action is taken
Maintain all hard floors with the use of machinery
Complete all relevant documentation to keep record's up to date at all times
Any other duties required within remit
