National Partnership Manager

Job summary

Were seeking an experienced and motivated National Partnerships Manager to help deliver partnerships that inspire people to save and improve lives through donation. In this key role, you'll lead NHS Blood and Transplants national partnership activity, managing external agencies, overseeing major campaigns and collaborations, and ensuring partnerships are creative, engaging, and effective.

You'll work with communications and marketing colleagues to deliver integrated campaigns that extend our reach and drive action. From developing pitch decks and creative toolkits to delivering webinars and partner events, youll bring our mission to life. Using data and insights, youll evaluate the reach and impact of partnership activity, helping us learn, improve, and demonstrate value. Confident in building relationships with senior stakeholders, you'll provide expert advice, influence outcomes, and manage budgets to ensure activity delivers excellent value for money.

Main duties of the job

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering the success of national partnerships, working with the commercial sector, public sector and non-profit sector to ensure that we have the right volume and mix of donors to meet patients needs, today and in the future.
  • Developing, implementing and evaluating a component of the partnership strategy in support of the organisations aims and objectives. Initiating and developing strategic and tactical partnerships with strategically relevant organisations and companies; to help raise awareness and deliver blood, organ, plasma, stem cell and bone marrow donors.
  • Developing and maintaining a portfolio of key partners and account managing the partner relationship.
  • Developing, monitoring and evaluating the success of the Corporate Social Responsibility offering and partnership activity in contributing to the delivery of the organisations strategic aims and objectives.
  • Working closely with relevant colleagues to ensure that contact and activity with partners and stakeholders is managed and communicated consistently and effectively.
  • Working closely with the marketing campaigns team to ensure that opportunities for campaign activity identified through partnerships is effectively progressed.
  • Managing relationships with external agencies to ensure alignment with partnership goals, drive performance, and deliver high-impact campaigns and initiatives.
