Job summary

We have flexible bank shifts and long-term placement opportunities available for HCPC registered Radiographers at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder will work within Elekta department and use Mosiaq as patient management system.

Main duties of the job

The role involves the treatment of the radiotherapy patients on one of our new linear accelerators at our main site at the General or at our satellite centre in Basingstoke. Other areas of rotational work include pre-treatment, DXR and in our new Brachytherapy suite.

Essential

  • Must have Qualifications/Experience:
  • Enthusiastic individuals with a Degree in Therapeutic Radiography or Diploma of College of Radiographers
  • Candidate should have a State Registration with the HCPC
  • Excellent written and verbal English language skills
  • Experience of a wide variety of Radiotherapy techniques & equipment
  • Ability to communicate with wide range of people
  • Ability to work as a team member
  • Ability to work under own initiative
  • Be able to take instruction / directions and work within the confines of the role
