Job summary

At Derby Road Practice we pride ourselves on being a well established, friendly, flexible, forward thinking primary care team. We are seeking a salaried GP for 6 sessions per week but this is negotiable for the right candidate.

Main duties of the job

As a training practice we will support, train and professionally develop the right individual who can help us meet our patients needs.Currently we have 2 partners, 5 salaried GPs and a full supporting admin and reception team, this is an amazing opportunity for an experienced GP to take on a new challenge.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Fully qualified GP with GMC registration/MRCGP.

Experience

Essential

  • Ability to take responsibility for your own career development, learning and performance and are responsible for ensuring that all your mandatory training is in date.
  • Awareness of and compliance with all relevant practice policies and guidelines, e.g. prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health and safety.
  • Commitment to life-long learning and audit to ensure evidence-based best practice.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a confidential manner.

Desirable

  • Experience with askmyGP & SystmOne.
