We are looking for a Care Support Assistant to come and join our team to support a client based in Accrington on a 2:1 basis.
Full training will be given to set you on your path to being a Care Support Assistant, where you will be paid a competitive rate of pay after completion of training.
This job involves 16 hours per week including day shifts and attracts a competitive rate of pay of £12.75 per hour (after completion of training).
Main duties of the job
We are recruiting for a Care Support Assistant to support an a client with physical and mental health disabilities on a 2:1 basis.
This job involves 16 hours per week including day shifts and attracts a competitive rate of pay of £12.75 per hour (after completion of training).
Support is required with the following:
Personal hygiene (minimal support until moves house)
Meal preparation
Support to shop for food, drink and essential items
Support to attend appointments
Support to access activities within the community within areas of interest
Support to maintain her environment

Your Responsibilities as a Care Support Assistant
- Assisting clients in their daily routines, encouraging independence wherever possible
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Helping with household tasks and meal preparation
- Supporting clients to attend appointments and community activities
- Administering medication when required
What We’re Looking For
To be successful as a Care Support Assistant, you’ll need:
- A caring and empathetic nature
- Good communication skills
- A genuine desire to support others
- Basic IT and record-keeping skills
- A full UK driving licence is advantageous
- Previous experience is helpful but not essential – full training provided
