Main duties of the job
The Wellbeing and Activities Assistant at Avery Healthcare plays a crucial role in making a positive impact on residents' lives daily. The focus is to support the Wellbeing Coordinator in engaging and stimulating the residents' physical, cognitive, and social well-being through various activities. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe environment, reporting changes in residents' conditions, preparing supplies for activities, and establishing community links to encourage participation. Candidates must demonstrate effective communication skills, understand the role of interaction in well-being, and have a positive attitude toward older people. Experience working in a residential nursing Dementia setting is preferred.
