Main duties of the job
The Care Assistant - Nights role at Avery Healthcare involves delivering high standards of personal care, supporting residents with their personal hygiene while ensuring their independence and dignity. Responsibilities include recognizing and understanding clinical risks, such as weight loss or signs of infection, and escalating them timely. Candidates must be courteous to residents and their visitors, practice safe work systems, and maintain respect and individuality for residents. Experience isn't required as Avery provides induction and training for role confidence. Required attributes include effective communication skills, initiative, adaptability, and the ability to follow instructions. A DBS check is necessary, the cost of which is borne by Avery. Proof of eligibility to work in the UK is also required.
