Main duties of the job

This role involves working with individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health, and complex needs, and will require someone who is enthusiastic with great interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude. The Support Worker will be responsible for providing tailored person-centred support, assisting individuals in living fulfilling and independent lives by helping them achieve their goals and maintain wellbeing. This includes supporting activities of daily living, such as social activities, personal care, meal planning, and budgeting. The role also involves effectively communicating using peoples chosen methods, encouraging people to participate in community activities, and reporting any changes in health or circumstances to management.
