Job summary
- This role is based across Somerset, with flexibility to work from multiple community sites subject to service needs. The contracted hours are 9 to 5 between Monday and Friday with occasional work outside of these hours to be part of meetings and promotional events for the service.
- You will be entitled to 30 days annual leave per year, rising to 32 days after five years service, plus bank holidays.
- As a Clinical Practice Educator with a focus on SEND, youll benefit from ongoing professional development, including access to further training, mentorship programmes, and opportunities to advance within the service. This role plays a significant part in supporting staff development and improving clinical practice in relation to SEND across Somerset.
- This post is offered on a fixed-term basis for 12 months to cover a secondment. There may be potential for extension or permanency depending on service needs.
Main duties of the job
Were working to improve the lives of people in Somerset and youll be a key part of that. Your day-to-day work will involve:
- Developing and implementing SEND educational resources and programmes.
- Evaluating learning outcomes and providing feedback to ensure high standards of care across the Early Years landscape.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to promote best practice and continuous improvement with a focus on SEND.
