Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a health care support worker within the Swansea Flying Start Health Visiting team.

The post offers the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in supporting the Health Visitors to deliver the Flying start core programme to children aged 0-5years in Swansea.

The Welsh Government flagship Flying start is expanding in Wales and this post offers the opportunity for the right individual to support the team in the expansion of the programme. The aim of the role would be to support the Health visiting team with administrative tasks and other clinical duties including supporting in child health clinics.

Main duties of the job

This role will require good communication and organisational skills . Working along side the Health Visiting teams to support in their roles organising clinics, developments , administration and contacting families.

The post holders will need to demonstrate good communication skills and that they are an excellent team player as well as being able to work alone.

The post will include working part time hours between Monday to Friday.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
