Exciting opportunity to join an inspiring motivated team within the Critical Care unit in Glangwili General Hospital.
The post-holder will be responsible for the delivery of a high standard of safe, individualised, efficient, cost-effective care under the delegated authority of a Registered Nurse.
The post-holder will communicate effectively at all times and in conjunction with other ward/team members, contribute to and maintain the ward/team philosophy.
The post-holder will practice in accordance with Health Board standards and statutory requirements and operate within the boundaries of the role and assessed competencies.
Various full and part time hours are available
Main duties of the job
You will be helping to ensure that critical care runs smoothly by undertaking duties outlined by the Nurse in Charge on a day to day basis. This will involve supporting the registered nurse with direct patient care, stocking unit with equipment , assisting with admission and discharges.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
