Job summary

There has arisen an unique opportunity for an enthusiastic Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse Reviewer to join the Central CHC Team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage on behalf of the Central Area the implementation, monitoring and reviewing of NHS Funded Registered Nursing Care (FNC), Continuing NHS Health Care (CHC) and Section 117 in Care Homes (Nursing) and in the domiciliary setting to ensure patients receive care of a quality which meets best practice and national standards as prescribed and funded by the NHS. The post holder will work closely with the CHC Team Manager , Home Managers and with both BCU and the Local Authorities contracts Team.

Main duties of the job

The Continuing Health Care Team Central, have an opportunity for a Registered Mental Health Nurse to join the OPMH Continuing Health Care team in the Central area , Conwy/Denbighshire. The post holder will manage on behalf of the Central Area the implementation, monitoring and reviewing of NHS Funded Registered Nursing Care (FNC) and Continuing NHS Health Care (CHC) and Section 117 in Care Homes (Nursing) and in the domiciliary setting to ensure patients receive care of a quality which meets best practice and national standards as prescribed and funded by the NHS

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
