Health Care Support Worker Cardiology

Job summary

The Health Care Support Worker will actively participate as a member of the ward team and will be responsible for contributing towards the smooth and efficient running of the ward.

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring beds and bed areas are clean and to keep the ward clean and tidy. The post holder will assist with maintaining ward stocks, keeping storerooms organised and tidy, keep clinical equipment clean and undertake other duties, including some aspects of clinical care as delegated by qualified staff.

Main duties of the job

We want bright keen motivated band 3 Health care support workers to join our team in delivering essential and specialist cardiac nursing care to our patients. We are 38 bedded ward who facilitates the tertiary ACS/ Complex transfer service. The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and will work well within a team. The ability to cope in an acute setting is desirable, although support will be given.
