Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Trainee Dental Nurse to join a well established team at Hull General Dental Services.

You will be a chairside Dental assistant supporting clinicians to carry out NHS and Private Dental care on a daily basis. This role requires Empathy, the ability to multitask in a fast paced clinical environment and offer outstanding patient care.

The applicant must have Math's and English grade A-C or equivalent in order to join the NEBDN course at Hull College one day per week. and will require to be vaccinated against Hepatitis B.

Main duties of the job

The post holder is responsible for supporting the Senior Nurse or other professionals in the delivery of reception duties and also decontamination and sterilisation procedures. They will work within defined parameters to undertake clerical duties, technical and clinical care informing their supervisor of duties undertaken, and the outcome of these.

This is a development role and upon successful completion of the NEBDN Qualification the post holder will be appointed to a band 3 Dental Nurse role.
