Job summary

Autism 360 is part of the widely established ADHD 360 Ltd. We are expanding our team as we increase our remote assessment offer throughout the UK and beyond.

We are looking for an experienced Report Writer to support us in maintaining high standards of service delivery.

You will be part of a growing team of highly experienced, dynamic autism professionals, comprising of nurses and allied health professionals. We are an organisation that cares, listens and wants to help. We pride ourselves on offering a high quality, time-efficient service.

We look beyond a diagnosis; we do not just focus upon identifying any diagnosis, but supporting the person to understand it for themselves through our range of aftercare options. The service supports professional development of its team members, with potential progression opportunities for the right team member.

Main duties of the job

The role will provide support to our clinicians by reviewing and collating background information from those we assess. The post holder will input this information directly into clinical reports.

Job responsibilities

  • To extrapolate clinically relevant information from onboarding information and populate non-diagnostic aspects of assessment reports.
  • To ensure assessment reports are clear, accessible and respectful in their content.
  • To work within KPI requirements in the efficient development of reports.
  • To work within knowledge limitations and respect the boundaries of clinical judgement.
  • To operate as an integral member of the Autism 360 team, contributing to service review, reflection and future planning as required.
  • To maintain accurate, professional and timely records.
  • To uphold the values and professional expectations of Autism 360 and the wider ADHD 360 LTD organisation.
  • To attend relevant training and development to maintain and develop skills and knowledge required to maintain exceptional standards.

General / administration

  • To prepare for and participate in regular supervision.
  • To carry out all administrative tasks reasonably associated with the nature of the role.
  • To adopt a supportive and constructive approach with others in the team.

Qualifications

Essential

  • A levels in psychology, social sciences or English.
  • Proficiency with all aspects of Microsoft Office.

Desirable

  • Degree in psychology, social sciences, or English.
  • Qualification in an autism related area.

Experience

Essential

  • Previous experience of contributing to clinical documentation.
  • Knowledgeable about the voice of the autistic person.
  • Experienced in supporting and/or working with autistic people (either lived experience or via employment).
  • High level of IT literacy including online meeting platforms.
  • Experience of presenting quality assurance data in a contextual, yet accessible way.
  • High level of grammatical expertise.
  • High level of personal and professional integrity.
  • The ability to think logically and critically, drawing key information from bodies of information.
  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills to enable autonomy on a day-to-day basis.
  • Reflective about your skills, practice, limitations and professional development.
  • Keen attention to detail, sustained over prolonged periods of time.
  • Flexible and original in thinking and decision making.
  • A commitment to work proactively within a team.
