Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Biomedical Scientist to join our Pathology team based at The London Clinic's main hospital in Central London, W1G 6BW, with a competitive salary range on offer. Main duties of the job

* Undertake routine and specialist laboratory techniques in line with department standard operating procedures. * Record information on the pathology laboratory information system and ensure it complies with governance requirements at all times. * To assess, initiate and monitor appropriate action when a situation may compromise service delivery and to escalate. * To be aware of the processes for escalation of laboratory issues. * To undertake technical validation and authorisation of results from laboratory investigations as specified by laboratory guidelines and policies.
