Consultant Psychiatrist at Llanarth Court and Priory Hospital Cardiff Salary Up To £150,000 Cardiff, Wales
Applications are invited for Responsible Clinicians to join an experienced team of seven Consultants delivering secure, rehabilitative and bespoke care tothree hospitals in South Wales.
Main duties of the job
You will have enthusiasm, dynamism and the capability and desire to work flexibly. You will be qualified in Forensic, General Adult or Learning disability psychiatry and have some experience working in a senior grade.
We can accommodate personal circumstances and encourage professional development, including building links with commissioners, universities, the Royal College and Deanery.
About us
The service in South Wales is expanding, with new units at Llanarth Hospital and in Cardiff. We are already the largest private provider of inpatient mental health services in the country and have plans to develop those further in conjunction with our commissioners, regulators and above all, our senior staff.
Priory Hospital Cardiff is a modern mental health treatment unit. The unit includes a variety of facilities, such as three secure gardens, a gym, a hydrotherapy pool, patient practice kitchens, patient social area, art rooms and dedicated support service areas.
The service is currently being developed to provide bespoke treatment packages for a variety of patients with complex mental health needs. The unit will provide a modern, homely environment promoting independence, whilst employing an experienced mutli-disciplinary team to oversee and support patient progress.
